Police State Joke: Seattle Bombsquad Blows up Abandoned Flashlight Near FBI Office
A security guard working at the FBI’s Seattle office at 3rd Avenue and Seneca Street reported a suspicious object outside the building, just after 2 a.m. the morning of October 8th.
The Bomb Squad was then sent in with two bomb disposal robots to investigate the mysterious object.
At that point, Seattle police closed streets around the Abraham Lincoln Building at Third and Seneca for over two hours as police and explosive experts were examining the device.
Then at around 4:38 a.m one of the robots were sent in to create an explosion to blow up the device while the area was under their control.
After blowing up the mysterious device FBI Spokeswoman Ayn Dietrich said that it was not explosive or hazardous and no threat had been made to the agency, but it was in fact just a flashlight, that may or may not have had a blinking red light on it somewhere, which gave the security guard and the entire police force the indication that it must be a bomb.
The police all have the same story and they are sticking to it. Lt. Greg Sackman for example told reporters that “It’s suspicious enough that it got the attention of everybody, It looked suspicious enough to us as well.”
This is not just an case of wasted resources and police state paranoia but also an example of the attitude that is exhibited by today’s law enforcement establishment.
The prevailing attitude is that the whole world is suppose to come to a grinding halt when there is an imaginary threat outside of an FBI building, but at the same time, in some of the countries worst cities like Detroit you cant even get a police officer to answer a 911 call.
This situation is a perfect expression of who the police work for and who they could care less about, because everyone knows that if the average person calls the cops and tells them that they saw a flashing light outside their house and they think it might be a bomb, the cops would probobly come, not to help but to search your house for drugs or take you in to have you committed somewhere if no drugs were found.
There would probobly be a whole lot of that alpha male pushing around, grabbing and wrestling that police officers love to engage in.
Either way it is very easy to see where the priorities of the establishment are when closely observing situations like this.
