Being brought up Catholic I only have that experience in my knowledge of prayer. What is a proper way to pray? To whom do I pray? The Creator Source, Sananda, Hatonn?
Thank you for any guidance you can provide in this matter.

You name carries a Christmas meaning! Thank you for your letter and questions about prayer.
There is no right or proper way to pray, as everyone and every situation is different. We may pray and petition any of those of the Realms of Light, and their response shall be immediate as is their promise. Just know that each of these Higher Beings have certain abilities/authorities and missions to fulfill, and shall help us according to these aspects of their being.
The head "honcho" is Creator Source, Creator of All That Is. Creator God Aton of Light is Creator of our Nebadon Universe, aka Hatonn, Commander of the Pleiades Star Fleet. Esu Immanuel (Jesus) Sananda is in charge of Earth Shan's evacuation of her people, and transition into the fifth dimension. The various Ascended Masters have their missions, which are explained in Phoenix Journal #7, The Rainbow Masters. You may pray to whomever you wish. I communicate mainly with Aton/Hatonn, Sananda and Germain. We are given some guidance on prayer in the Phoenix Journals. In the "Hello, Central!" Keeping Prayer Simple! I refer to "A Perfect Prayer" (The Lord's Prayer) by Sananda.
Phoenix Journal #34, entitled "Phone Home, E.T." discusses meditation and prayer in detail. I have written the article "People of the Lie: Phone Home E.T.", which you may also wish to read on this subject. There are other writings which may help you understand better the realm of Spirit and prayer. Some are "Hello, Central! Keeping Prayer Simple", "Hello Central! Protection", "Hello, Central! This is Urgent, I Need Protection", and "The Power of Spirit".
You may also know that my "Prayer for America" appears at the top of our Fourwinds homepage. May you find both direction and inspiration, as you read in sincerity Phoenix Journal #34 and these various writings. Please ask, if I can be of further help in this matter of prayer.
In Love and Light,
